Time to settle down

“The Fall of Man” evidently expresses this paradigm shift. After millenniums as nomads humans have to settle down to lay down guidelines for lasting growth. The historical individuals are not able to realize the necessity themselves. Neither the genes nor the experience (the archetypes) contains the knowledge about what is necessary for the future. Human beings are inclined to pick and to gather the apples, as long as the fresh fruit hangs on the trees. But the long-range strategy concerning the survival and the growth of the human race is missing. That why the Lord interferes and introduces the concept of the Fall of Man, telling that human nature is self-inflicted evil. In the evolutionary line of thought man is without the incentive to settle down and to cultivate the earth, involving pain and suffering. The past is raised or reduced to myths and mythology by the interference. It was hereafter no longer millenniums of accidental wandering for fruitful areas or hunting.
